According to RMC Sport, Mauro Icardi, the striker for Paris Saint-Germain, was absent from training on Monday due to an alleged feud with his wife Wanda.
The Argentina international had returned to Milan yesterday and appeared to have settled the matter before a new post from his wife and agent today placed doubt on their apparent reconciliation.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino said in his pre-Leipzig press conference this afternoon that an assessment would be made this evening to see if his compatriot is in the proper frame of mind to play tomorrow.
“Concerning Mauro Icardi and his personal problems, he wasn’t able to train today but he will be in the squad for tomorrow. We’ll see tonight what the situation is and whether he can play or not.”
