LIGUE 1 - OM: Marseille supporters banned from traveling against Nantes

Published on: 29 November 2021

This Wednesday at 9 pm, the Olympique de Marseille will move on the lawn of FC Nantes on behalf of the sixteenth day of Ligue 1. For this meeting, the Phocéens will not be able, however, to count on the presence of their supporters. The prefect of Loire-Atlantique indeed took the decision on Monday to ban their travel to the Beaujoire stadium.

In the midst of a debate on recurring overflows in Ligue 1 stadiums, the Deputy Minister in charge of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu, had also recently asked all football players to take their responsibilities . Note that this is the fourth consecutive ban for Olympian supporters (Nantes, Lyon, Clermont and Lille), since the incidents in Angers at the end of September (0-0).
