LIGUE 1 - PSG-Leipzig: the official line-ups, Draxler starts

Published on: 19 October 2021

This Tuesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain host RasenBallsport Leipzig at Parc des Princes as part of the third day of the group stage (Group A) of the Champions League. Return of selection with pain in the adductors, Neymar is forfeited, just like Leandro Paredes (injured in a thigh) and Mauro Icardi. For the rest, Mauricio Pochettino makes only two changes from the victory against Manchester City (2-0). Julian Draxler replaces Neymar on the left wing of the attack, while Keylor Navas holds the goals in Ile-de-France.

Opposite, RB Leipzig is reduced with the absences of Brian Brobbey, Dani Olmo and Marcel Halstenberg. Jesse Marsch can however count on the former Parisian Christopher Nkunku, in great form at the start of the season, and on the ex of Strasbourg, Mohamed Simakan.

Team compositions:

PSG: Navas - Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes - A. Herrera, M. Verratti, I. Gueye - L. Messi, K. Mbappe, Draxler.

RB Leipzig: Gulácsi - Klostermann, Simakan, Orban, Angeliño - Mukiele, Laimer, Adams, Haidara - Nkunku - André Silva.
