Premier League side Heart of Lions are close to signing veteran trainer Ken August to replace Paa Kwesi Fabin as their head coach, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Fabin is set to bow out of the club after being appointed coach for Ghana's Under-17 team.

The ex-Great Olympic boss has been contacted for the position and sources say both parties have reached an agreement with personal details almost close to be sorted out.

He is likely to be on the bench for Lions trip to Medeama SC on 27 November.
