Peter Crouch addresses the dominance of Manchester City and Liverpool in the English Premier League title race.

After Liverpool's 2005 UCL success in Istanbul, Jurgen Klopp hopes his side can make the city just as special with a UEFA Super Cup win.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said goalkeeper Adrian is a doubt for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton as he suffered an ankle injury after a fan entered the pitch following their UEFA Super Cup victory over Chelsea.

With first-choice goalkeeper Alisson having injured his calf injury in their opening match of the season, summer arrival Adrian started the showpiece event in Istanbul, and was the hero as he saved Tammy Abraham's penalty to earn Liverpool the win on spot-kicks.

However, Klopp has said the Spaniard suffered an injury and may not be available for the trip to St Mary's.

"A supporter slipped and kicked his ankle," Klopp told a news conference. "Yesterday it was swollen and today I spoke to him and he said it's much better, but we have to see."

Should Adrian fail to recover in time for the match against Southampton, Andy Lonergan is expected to start in goal.
