Liverpool striker Benteke: I\'ve been ignored by Klopp

Published on: 23 March 2016

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke admits he doesn't know where he stands with manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Belgian has flopped since his £32.5m arrival from Aston Villa last summer and has fallen down the pecking order under Klopp.

“Some team-mates have said that I was lucky with the arrival of Klopp, because I certainly would play," the Daily Star says he is alleged to have told Sport/Voetbalmagazine.

“When your coach says he wanted to take you to Dortmund and a little later you sit at the same club and he ignores you, it is hard to understand.

“I do not understand why people say that (I cannot fit in at Liverpool).

“I can play pressing and moving a lot. It is not that we play in the Barcelona style."
