Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho go head-to-head on Saturday for one of the Premier League's biggest fixtures.

Both coaches are known for giving a snappy quote, whether it be an endearing anecdote or a withering one-liner.

Here is a selection of some memorable bon mots from each man as they prepare to face off at Anfield.

JURGEN KLOPP

"[Henrikh] Mkhitaryan fits us like an arse on a bucket. What he offers is exactly what we need." - We don't know what arses and buckets have to do with each other, but this was the praise directed at the Armenia midfielder when Klopp signed him for Borussia Dortmund. Unfortunately for Klopp, Mkhitaryan will line up against his Liverpool side this weekend.

"We will wait for him like a good wife that is waiting for his husband to leave jail." -- Klopp would never leave Mats Hummels, especially after his injury woes. Unfortunately, Klopp's departure from Dortmund in 2015 meant the happy couple were separated.

"It's really difficult to look for glasses without glasses!" -- Adam Lallana's dramatic late winner in the 5-4 victory over Norwich sparked wild celebrations on the Liverpool bench, with Klopp losing his trademark eyewear amid the frantic scenes.

"How do you explain to a blind person what colour is?" -- Klopp's brutal putdown to a Schalke fan when asked what the secret is to winning the Bundesliga.

"Yes, it's true. I underwent a hair transplant. And I think the results are really cool, don't you?" -- We are sure that Wayne Rooney would agree!

Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp and Manchester United's Jose Mourinho are rarely lost for words.

JOSE MOURINHO

"Eight years without silverware, that's failure. He's a specialist in failure." -- Mourinho is infamous for his war of words with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. This quote came in 2014, eight-and-a-half years after Arsenal's 2005 FA Cup triumph.

"If they made a film of my life, I think they should get George Clooney to play me. He's a fantastic actor and my wife thinks he would be ideal." -- From one silver fox to another.

"He [God] must really think I'm a great guy. He must think that, because otherwise He would not have given me so much. I have a great family. I work in a place where I've always dreamt of working. He has helped me out so much that He must have a very high opinion of me." -- Humble as ever, Mr. Mourinho

"I want to push the young players on my team to have a proper haircut, not the Rastafarian or the others they have." -- Mourinho after cutting his hair extremely short in 2013.

"I'm on the touchline to try and coach. I'm not on the touchline doing this [frantically waves arms]." -- Mourinho takes a cheeky dig at Klopp's touchline demeanour before United and Liverpool faced each other in October 2016.
