Liverpool's 'four-man transfer shortlist' to replace misfiring front three

Liverpool have a four-man transfer shortlist to replace their misfiring top three ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Reds have seen their Premier League title defence crumble after another Anfield defeat.

This time it came against Fulham, who inflicted a sixth loss in a row at home after Mario Lemina netted just before half-time.

It leaves Liverpool eighth in the Premier League and fighting to finish in the top four.

Though they may only be four points off Chelsea, all the clubs above them - including Everton and Tottenham - have games in hand.

Jurgen Klopp has already admitted this is as low as it gets but his biggest problem is his front three.

The last time either Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino scored in the league was against Tottenham on January 28.

Mohamed Salah, meanwhile, has one goal in five Premier League appearances.

According to Stan Collymore, there are "whispers" at the club that the Liverpool trio of attackers have their sights set on leaving Anfield.

It comes after winning everything they can a Liverpool and wanting to prove themselves somewhere else as they enter the prime years of their careers.

And if the Reds can get big-money for three of them, Collymore has revealed a four-man shortlist to replace them.

He: "LFC front 3 have won the lot and may fancy Madrid, Bayern or Juve for a new challenge

"So don't discount an overhaul being at least being whispered at LFC.

"Haaland, Grealish, Fati ( Barca completely skint) Boadu ( couple of Dutch coaches i know love this kid) all on a list."

However, Klopp has insisted none of his players will leave - even if they do not achieve Champions League football.

“That is nothing we have to worry about,” said Klopp. “It was always like this. I know we have loyalty from the players.

“It is not a situation where a player in the squad says we are not in the Champions League so I have to leave.

“That will not happen. I know them well enough to know that.”
