Harry Wilson has agreed personal terms with Fulham ahead of a £12m move from Liverpool.
The Wales international has failed to cement his place in the Reds' starting XI since graduating from their academy and has been shipped out on loan in five of the last six campaigns.
Jurgen Klopp is actively seeking frontline reinforcements this summer after Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane both experienced underwhelming campaigns last season - but Wilson won't be offered his chance to stake a claim for a place in the first team at Anfield.
The Athletic report that the Welshman is on the verge of securing a move to Fulham, with contract talks already finalised. Wilson has been granted permission to leave the Reds' pre-season training camp in Austria and once a medical is complete the deal will be rubber stamped.
A number of sides have inquired about the possibility of a move for Wilson in recent years with the Reds understood to have previously placed a £25m price tag on his head.
However, their quest to generate transfer funds has seen them lower their valuation of the 24-year-old to £15m. The Cottagers were unwilling to match the price quoted to them but an agreement has now been reached, with Liverpool receiving £12m from the deal.
Wilson isn't expected to be the last exit from Anfield this summer as Klopp looks to offload some of the club's fringe players.
Liverpool have already sanctioned the departure of Marko Grujic to Porto for a fee believed to be in the region of £10m, while Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Union Berlin for £6m.
A whole host of other players are understood to be available for sale this summer including Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi, and it may be the case that Klopp is unable to bring in any more new faces until further sales are confirmed.
