Lloyd Sam fit to play against Bury

Winger Lloyd Sam is expected to be fit for Notts County's home game against Bury.

A hip injury forced Sam, on loan from Leeds, to leave the action early in the second half of the goalless draw with fellow play-off contenders Brentford last Saturday.

Lee Hughes could also be in the reckoning after a virus. The veteran striker missed out at Griffin Park but was expected to resume training during the latter part of this week.

Manager Keith Curle could be forced into a defensive change as Julian Kelly is struggling with a hamstring injury. On-loan Nottingham Forest full-back Kieron Freeman would be his likely replacement.

Defenders Stephen Hunt (ankle), Sam Sodje (knee) and Jude Stirling (knee) and striker Jonathan Forte (facial injury) remain out.
