Local Black Stars can cope without me- Suspended Yahaya Mohammed

Suspended Ghana striker Yahaya Mohammed says there qualify players to replace him in Tuesday’s final Group C clash against Ethiopia in Mangaung.

The Asante Kotoko ace has picked up two yellow cards and will serve the mandatory one-match ban.

Mohammed has been influential in the Local Black Stars set-up at the African Nations Championship.

He scored in the 1-1 draw with Libya in Ghana’s last match on Friday and was named man of the match.

Mohammed has watered down suggestions his absence will affect the team.

"Everybody can play. We have so many strikers including Seidu Bansey and Paul Asare. They are all capable of playing just that we cannot all play at the same time. I have belief in them that they can do it coming Tuesday," Mohammed said.

Ghana need to avoid defeat against the already eliminated Ethiopia to advance to the quarter-final.
