Local Black Stars management committee chairman,  Fred Pappoe,  was left satisfied with the silver-winning performance of the team at the recently ended CHAN tournament in South Africa

The Ghanaians will have to wait a little longer to end their title drought on the continent after losing 4-3 on penalties to Libya in Saturday’s final in Cape Town.

The Local Black Stars chief, Fred Pappoe, says he was impressed with the level of commitment of the players.

“We are very disappointed we couldn’t win the title but I am very proud of the boys,” Pappoe said

“They did very well and deserve to be applauded. We expected something higher but we must be satisfied with the silver.”

The team landed in the West African country on Monday night.
