English-born Ghanaian forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is eager for more success after his stunning brace helped Sheffield United secure a vital 2-0 win over Luton Town in the English Championship.

On loan from Crystal Palace, Rak-Sakyi played a pivotal role in the Week 9 fixture. He opened the scoring in the 12th minute by converting a perfectly lobbed pass from Anel Ahmedhodžić and doubled the Blades' lead in the 52nd minute with a composed low shot past Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.

Despite late pressure from Luton Town, Sheffield United held firm, with Rak-Sakyi’s two goals sealing the win.

Reflecting on his performance, the 22-year-old forward expressed his joy and desire for more goals.

“Yeah. I'm over the moon. It's been a very good day for the team and also for myself as well to celebrate my birthday and to help the team with two goals today is fantastic. I couldn’t imagine anything better,” Rak-Sakyi said.

"I know it's been hard to get into the flow, but I have good teammates around me, good coaches that push me every day in training and believe in me. I’m just happy that today it paid off, and long may it continue.”

After earning Player of the Year honors at Charlton Athletic last season, Rak-Sakyi has quickly made his mark at Sheffield United, becoming a crucial part of their Championship campaign.
