Racing Santander were in good form before the coronavirus-enforced break and Luca Zidane is confident that his team will be even better when they start playing again.
The Real Madrid loanee, who turned 22 on May 13, explained that avoiding relegation will be their main target, as they are currently bottom of LaLiga SmartBank.
"The table is what it is, but we are going to fight for the objective, which is to maintain the category," Luca said.
"There are 11 games left and we are going to give everything to try to save ourselves."
Luca also expressed his joy for being able to return to training after a couple of months.
"It is always good to go back to doing what we like the most, which is to play football, and at the same time prepare for the return to the league," the goalkeeper noted.
"We appreciate that we can return to training."
After acknowledging how tough is to stay at home during lockdown, Luca wanted to send a message to the fans.
"Comply with the government's rules, leave the house as little as possible and always do everything with caution," he stressed.
