French giants Lyon are among the two clubs keen on signing Ghana midfeilder Agyemang Badu on loan.

Spanish outfit have also joined the chase for the enforcer who plays in the Italian Serie A with Udinese.

Stringent laws for foreign players and the availability of other top midfielders in the club have left him with few first team starts.

Lyon are seeking for replacement for the likely departures of some of their key midfiedler when the transfer window opens.

The French side are keen on a permanent deal but his club Udinese insists they want him to stay longer.

Osasuna are also keen on Badu but their financial woes could conspire against their quest to have the player on loan.

Badu joined Udinese after excelling for Ghana at the U20 World Cup in Egypt last year.
