Hearts captain Mahatma Otoo will undergo a medical at Benfica ahead of a proposed move to the Portuguese giants, reports in the local media have claimed.
The 21-year-old is expected to fly out of the country next week to undergo the formality.
If the medical is successful, the ex-Sporting Mirren will sign a long-term deal with the club.
Otoo has been reluctant to renew his contract with Hearts which runs out at the end of the season.
