Former Ghana goalkeeper Abubakari Damba says Felix Annan deserves to be in post for Asante Kotoko following Razak Abalorah's dip in form.
The Asante Kotoko captain replaced Razak Abalorah in the post in last weekend's round of fixtures in the Ghana Premier League.
Felix Annan was impressive in the game for Kotoko as they were held by WAFA to a 1-1 draw at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
With Asante Kotoko boasting of three good goalkeepers, Damba indicated that Felix Annan should be maintained in the post to ensure consistency
“The performance of Felix Annan was satisfactory and they should maintain him”, he told Happy 98.9FM.
“For Razak Abalorah he needs to be rested for at least three games. This will allow Abalorah to rest and also build his confidence. So in my opinion they need to play Felix Annan ahead of Abalorah.
“They should also not think of putting Abalorah too much on the bench since that can also affect his performance considering the stage he is in now”, he added.
