Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru netted his second goal of the season as St. Gallen beat FC Zurich 3-1 in a rescheduled Swiss top-flight fixture on Wednesday.
The match was originally scheduled to be played last Sunday but due to massive snowfall the game was called off.
The WAFA SC graduate found the back of the net in the 71st minute from a Tranquillo Barnetta assist.
The win enable St. Gallen to leapfrog FC Zurich to the 4th place on the league table.
Defender Musah Nuhu also lasted the entire duration of the game to help St. Gallen claim all three points.
