Mallorca defender Lumor Agbenyenu set to return to Sporting CP as loan deal ends on June 30

Ghana defender Lumor Agbenyenu is set to leave Spanish side Real Mallorca as his loan deal expires on June 30.

The 23-year-old is on loan to Mallorca from the Portuguese side Sporting CP.

With the break brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, some clubs have been able to extend the contract of their players till the end of the season after it was initially supposed to end on June 30.

Mallorca is yet to open talks with his parent club Sporting CP for an extension in his current loan deal which ends in five days time.

Agbenyenu who has seen his season plagued by injuries made a return to the squad against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The left-back has made 17 appearances for the bottom-placed team this season in the La Liga.
