Maltese side Żejtun Corinthians support grassroot football in Ghana

Maltese league premier league side Zejtun Corinthians have donated 21 boxes of sports kits to ANOMABO FOOTBALL CLUB a division two outfit based in ANOMABO in the central region of Ghana.

The items included different sets of Football jerseys, track suits, bibs, T-shirts Lacoste and other playing and training materials.

The president of the club, Joseph Gauci says the rationale behind the donation is to help grow grassroot Football and to unearth talents for the community and  country as a whole.

He noted that the future of every successful football Nation is its grassroot Football and pledged his unwavering support for grassroot soccer within the region and beyond.

Receiving the items ,the Chief Executive Officer Of ANOMABO FC Richard Daniel Ekow Ansah expressed his appreciation to Mr Gauci and stated that the donation have taking a huge financial burden off his head as there will be no need for him buying new kits for the ensuing seasons.

He again indicated that the items have boosted the Morales of Players and  have also increase attendance of players at sessions.

Like Oliver twist ,Mr Ekow Ansah asked for more and promised to work so hard to churn out good materials who will be fit to join Zejtun Corinthians in the near future.

Aside Anomabo FC,Mr Ansah has a juvenile club Obonoma Mighty Defenders which is a feeder club to ANOMABO fc.

This is the second time Mr Gauci is making such a donation to the same club.
