MAN. CITY boss Guardiola: "It's up to CANCELO whether to stay put or not"

Lined up much less than anticipated so far, Portuguese international right-back/winger Joao Cancelo (25), who joined Manchester City last summer, from Juventus, on a 65 million euros transfer fee, isn't holding up to expectations. Addressed with the forementioned issue, PL defending champions boss, Pep Guardiola, stated: "Cancelo is a very skilled player, no question upon. He's able to serve two or even three assists in the same match. However, it's up to him to decide whether he wants to stay with us, and keep on fighting as we do, or not. We live in the United Kingdom, it's a free country". Former Inter Milan and Benfica runner has recently been linked to a loan-spell move back to Valencia.
