Man City, Chelsea monitoring closely Dani Alves' Barcelona situation

Manchester City and Chelsea are among European clubs monitoring Daniel Alves' situation at Barcelona.

Alves has attracted offers from both Premier League giants in the past and a move to England could finally be on for the Brazilian this summer.

Marca says Barca management are seriously considering selling Alves after becoming increasingly exasperated by his behaviour this season.

The fullback has recently lost his first team place and last week infuriated senior teammates and coaching staff by dancing in front of Rayo fans after the fifth of their seven goals was scored.

Alves apologised for his actions, but the incident was no one-off and its emerged he is now also becoming increasingly isolated inside the Barca locker room.
