Manchester City are waiting for Sergio Aguero to put pen to paper on a new deal.
The Daily Star Sunday says City remain confident that Aguero, 27, will sign a new contract.
The striker seemed to suggest his current deal until 2019 would be his last before returning to Argentina to play for Independiente.
However, City chiefs expect him to soon ink new terms ahead of Pep Guardiola's arrival.
