Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has expressed his desire to repay the faith shown in him by the club's loyal fans over the years.
Aguero has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world since his move to City from Atletico Madrid back in 2011 and it is no surprise that the Argentinean is adored by the Etihad Stadium faithful.
The 27-year-old is appreciative of the affection from the City supporters and has now expressed his desire to repay the faith by staying put at the club for years to come.
He said: "I am aware of the affection City supporters have shown for me and I have felt it since day one - on and off the pitch.
"This is a great incentive for me to try to pay that faith back, day by day and game by game.
"As long as I keep trying to do so I'm certain that will mean many good things are to come for all of us in the coming years."
According to the Manchester Evening News, Aguero is currently discussing a new deal that will see him remain with City until at least 2020.
