Man City to hand Barcelona target Zabaleta new contract

Pablo Zabaleta is set for a new Manchester City contract.

The Sun says Zabaleta is ready to snub Barcelona — and earn himself an extra £10,000 a week with Manchester City.

The Argentine full-back has been targeted by deposed La Liga giants Barca, who want him to team up with his close pal Lionel Messi next season.

But Zabaleta, 27, has quickly made it clear to the Premier League champions he is desperate to stay at the Etihad.
