Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has responded to sensational rumours about a return to football.
Cantona has been linked with the sporting director's post at Olympique Marseille.
The speculation dominated the news cycle in France last night and forced Cantona to respond publicly.
"I think the fans had fun making a bit of humor and I am sure that other candidates will do better than I," smiled Cantona.
"For football and me, it is a closed chapter from twenty years ago."
