Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has dismissed reports linking him with a surprise return to Serie A with Juventus.
The 26-year-old Italy international joined the Premier League club from Torino in a deal worth a fee in the region of €15 million in July and has moved quickly to play down the rumours.
“I’m happy here with the team, the staff and the city,” Darmian told the Manchester Evening News.
“I just try to ignore the rumours. I want to continue on my way and that’s it.
“The manager is happy with my progress and when I train, I try to improve day by day. When the manager gives me a chance I try to do my best and to help the team.”
Damian has made 13 league appearances for the Red Devils so far this season.
