According to Daily Star, Jose Mourinho is still looking to bolster his backline and Monaco right-back Fabinho is on his radar.
Fabinho could leave the French outfit during the current transfer window and make the surprise move to Old Trafford “soon”.
The Brazilian international was in fine form for Monaco last season, marking his most impressive to date. The 22-year-old managed 47 appearances, helping the club to a third-place Ligue 1 finish.
According to The Sun last week, Mourinho is lining up a £22m bid for the player, hoping to fend off interest from rivals Manchester City and Italian side Napoli.
