JUAN MATA has piled praise on Anthony Martial following his match-winning display against Everton.

The big-money summer signing has been a massive highlight of Manchester United's difficult season.

He netted his third vital goal in the Red Devils' last fourth games to give them a 1-0 win at Old Trafford yesterday.

The 20-year-old slotted home Tim Fosu-Mensah's cross from close range to move Louis van Gaal's men up to fifth in the Premier League table.

"Since day one that I have trained with him, I have felt that this guy has something special," Mata said.

"He has everything to succeed in football at this club. He is quick, has goals, he can beat players one on one and he understands football.

"I enjoy playing with him because we understand each other and we are very happy with him.

"He is having a fantastic season and hopefully he scores many more goals."
