ESPN have reported that former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho increasingly confident he will be Manchester United manager next season. Dismissed by defending Premier League champions Chelsea earlier this due to an abysmal season, Mourinho is still regarded as one of the greatest managers in the world. Despite managing in the Premier League for over 6 years collectively Mourinho has rarely, if ever, said a bad thing about United. Despite no official announcement ESPN believe United manager Louis Van Gaal will be departing in the summer as many fans and the establishment at Old Trafford have lost faith in his play style. Lines of communication have been open between United and Mourinho since he departed Chelsea in December.
