Manchester United 'possible destination' for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and more transfer rumours

Manchester United could be a 'possible destination' for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in next summer's transfer market, according to reports.

The Reds have been linked with the Serbian star for several years, but a move has never materialised. Milinkovic-Savic's contract expires in 2024 and it remains to be seen if he will remain in Rome.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27-year-old - who has an 'excellent relationship' with Lazio president Claudio Lotito and director of football Igli Tare - could be set for a move next year, with United touted as a potential destination.

The Italian giants have reportedly scheduled a meeting with Milinkovic-Savic's agent at the end of the month to discuss his future. During his time with Lazio, he has made 303 appearances, registering 60 goals and 56 assists.

Elsewhere, 90min are reporting that United are looking to tie down Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot to new contracts in the coming months. Both players have been in impressive form since the arrival of Reds boss Erik ten Hag in the summer, with Rashford recording five goal contributions already this season, while Dalot has been solid at right-back.

The Reds are desperate to keep hold of the pair after impressing at Old Trafford in the past month. It is thought that both players will be offered new deals soon.
