Manchester United target move for Juventus striker

Premier League giants Manchester United are exploring the possibility of acquiring the signature of Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.

The 23-year-old Spanish forward, who has emerged as a key player for coach Massimiliano Allegri since joining the club, has scored seven league goals for the Bianconeri this season despite having to settle for a place amongst the substitutes on a regular basis.

According to TuttoSport, the Red Devils are ready to offer a fee in the region of €50 million in order to sign the Spain international, who is also being linked with a move back to his former club Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane’s men are willing to re-sign the forward for a fee closer to €30M, but Manchester United are thought to be ready to make the Turin club a substantially larger offer.

Morata joined the Old Lady from Real Madrid in 2014 for a reported fee of around €20M, with the Los Blancos insisting on having first option to buy him back in the future as one of the terms of the deal.
