Manchester United's Paul Pogba out of Manchester City clash with injury

Paul Pogba's two goals in a span of two minutes sparked Man United's comeback win versus Man City last April.

MANCHESTER, England -- Paul Pogba has been forced out of the Manchester derby through injury.

The Frenchman was absent from training on Friday and despite receiving treatment over the weekend failed to pass a fitness test ahead of the game at the Etihad Stadium.

He is replaced in Manchester United's starting XI with Marouane Fellaini. Pogba scored twice in United's 3-2 win at City in April but after picking up an injury during the 2-1 victory over Juventus in Turin on Wednesday has missed out on facing Pep Guardiola's side.
