Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez have been named as the final three-man shortlist for CAF's African Player of the Year award.
The final nominees' short-list is cut from 10 players to three, with the award ceremony taking place on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 in Egypt.
Liverpool star duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have both made the final cut after their impressive year that ended with a UEFA Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup and mosts recently the Club World Cup.
Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez rounds off the nominees list after claiming the Africa Cup of Nations title as well as the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
Salah has received the prestigious award in the last two years and is hoping to make it three in the role. Mahrez has won it once in 2016.
For Mane, he will be hoping to win it for the first time after finishing second in the last years.
CAF also announce the final shortlist for all other categories including coach of the year and women's player of the year with Ghana nowhere to be found.
