Former board member of Asante Kotoko Baffour Kwame Kusi II Ankobeahene has intimated that Manhyia will honour its promises to the playing body if they clinch this year's CAF Confederations Cup trophy.

The Porcupine Warriors are gearing up for Congolese side CARA Brazzaville in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Sradium on Sunday.

Reports suggest that the Spiritual head of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has promised to reward the playing a mouth-watering bonus should they finish the competition as champions.

Speaking ahead of the much anticipated clash, Mr. Baffour Kwame Kusi II Ankobeahene revealed that Manhyia is bent on delivering its promises to the players if they win the cup.

"Mahyia to honour Kotoko players should they win CAF Confederations Cup trophy," he told Oyerepa FM.

"I have met the playing body and told them Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is not around and has asked me to communicate such to them and that Manhyia is behind them, they should make Asanteman proud."
