German born Ghanaian defender Marcel Appiah has signed a two year contract extension with Regionalliga side VFR Aalen.
The 31-year old joined VFR Aalen in the summer, where he signed a one year contract but following his fine performances he has been handed a new two year contract.
Appiah has been a key cog in manager Rico Schmitt's side as they lie 14th in the SouthWest division of the Regionalliga.
Appiah has played 18 times already for VfR Aalen this season.
