Maritzburg United shot stopper Richard Ofori has sent a goodwill message to the Black Stars B ahead of their  2018 CHAN qualifier against the Stallions of Burkina Faso.

The Black Stars B will engage their Burkinabe counterparts in the first leg of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers at the Stade du 4 Août on Saturday, August 12th.

And Ofori, who until his recent switch to Maritzburg United was a core member of the squad, has wished his former teammates the best of luck ahead their crunch tie.

“It is a national assignment and the prestige that comes with playing in the national jersey will see you through. I am with you in spirit and remains hopeful we will sail through at the end of the day," Ofori said.

“It is a two legged tie but I am sure we will make the second leg a formality. I am sure team Ghana will defend the flag of our land and make us proud. Go for the kill and make Ghanaians proud."
