Maritzburg United No.1 Richard Ofori says he is not thinking about winning the PSL Best Goalkeeper of the Season award.

The Ghana international is of the view that the South African top-flight is blessed with quality gloves men.

Ofori has been phenomenon between the sticks of the the Team of Choice and has been linked with a move to giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

Despite the huge interest, Ofori is downplaying his exploits.

"No, I won't say I'm thinking about the goalkeeper of the season award, because at the end of the day you need to do your work well and after that it will be decided," he said.

"For now I'm enjoying my football and at the end of the season we will see how we go."

The PSL has come world-class goalkeepers including SuperSport United's Ronwen Williams and Daniel Akpeyi of Kaizer Chiefs.

Ofori admits this is a manifestation that the league has the best goalkeepers in the world.

"Yeah, I always say this country has the best goalkeepers in the world. Every goalkeeper in the league either is a second choice or first choice of his country," he explained.

"So it's not a bad thing for this country at all, because this country has been producing good goalkeepers so it's good because the world can know about the South African league."
