Marseille coach won't guarantee regular playing time to Jo Ayew

Olympique Marseille coach Elie Baup has told Ghana striker Jordan Ayew he cannot be assured more game time for the upcoming season. 

The 20-year-old Ayew claims he might reconsider his future if he is regarded a bit-part player at the Stade Velodrome.

He made 17 starts out of 34 appearances in the French Ligue 1 last season and scored three goals.

But Baup-who replaced Didier Deschamps this month-has replied the third son of Abedi Pele saying he cannot be granted his wish.

"Jordan is someone who I will of course count on. After, it all depends on how he interprets his playing time," Baup said at a press conference.

"If he wants to do all the matches, I don't know. It is perhaps possible, but we really need him."Game time? He is going to .....''

Jordan's senior brother Andre is a key player for Marseille.
