Olympique Marseille Sporting director Jose Anigo believes Ghana winger Andre Ayew is the man to lift Marseille out of the current crisis.

The former European champions are still searching for their first win in the five week old French Ligue 1 after an unimpressive start to the campaign.

Ayew is on his way to recovery after sustaining an injury on international duty with Ghana last weekend.

However, ahead of Marseille's clash with Olympiakos in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday, Anigo believes the 21-year-old's return to full fitness will be an end to the current goal scoring headaches at the club.

"You need good information. Mathieu (Valbuena) made ??the session and it was untenable, he fared fine. Dede has worked in front of goal and he look ready seemed to go. Tonight, they looked like guys who can be effective in the future" he said.
