Marseille president praises ''exceptional'' Andre Ayew

Olympique Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier was forced to shower praise on Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew describing him as ''exceptional''

The 21-year-old grabbed the headlines on Sunday night after his double stole a 1-2 win at AS Nancy to keep Marseille in the title race.

Jean-Claude Dassier said: "Ayew is exceptional because of what he did tonight. He can score three or four goals. He weighed in this game as anyone. He is a player physically beautiful. He has a way to take that which belongs 'to him,"

Ayew has netted six goals in 24 matches.
