WAFA capitulated at the death again to lose 2-1 at Bechem United on Sunday to end the first half of the Zylofon Cash Premier League.
The Academy Boys had taken the lead in the 72nd minute through midfielder Umar Basiru.
He headed in a from inside the box on a Richard Danso cross.
But the home team fought back to draw level in the 85th minute through Hamza Mohammed who blasted from the edge of the box after WAFA SC had cleared a corner kick.
Bechem United continued their onslaught and on the 90th minute mark Hafiz Wontah scored bag the points.
He received a pass from middle and shot past goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.
It is WAFA's first defeat in eight matches who will end the first round with 20 points.
Bechem United will move to 19 points into the second half of the table.
