Ghana's Black Satellites played out a pulsating 2-2 draw with Qatar's Olympic side in an international friendly on Tuesday night in Western Asia.

Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord striker Samuel Tetteh struck the opener for Ghana four minutes before the break but the host took advantage of the Satellites less intensity to equalise and take the lead at the Al Arabia SC Stadium.

But Bechem United's Benjamin Tetteh climbed off the bench to pull even for Ghana with an 81st minute fabulous finish.

Black Satellites head coach Sellas Tetteh handed named Hearts of Oak full-back Owusu Bempah, Benjamin Tetteh and other experienced locals in his line-up. Berekum Chelsea keeper Michael Sai dislodged Hearts of Oak new signing Seidu Mutawakilu for the first-choice gloves and was also handed the armband for the game.

Ghana took the game to the Qataris and huge dominated play with New Edubiase United midfielder Asiedu Attobrah, Noah Martey and Sulley Mohammed all creating chances.

But the Satellites failed to convert any of the chances until Feyenoord striker Samuel Tetteh brilliantly finished off a well-worked goal in the 41st minute.

Ghana's midfield went to sleep after the break, allowing Qatar to dominate the midfield and equalising before later taking the lead.

Sellas Tetteh altered his formation after going down by introducing Benjamin Tetteh and the Bechem United attacking midfielder proved his worth by scoring the equaliser with nine minutes left.

There was still time though for him to score another goal that was controversially disallowed by the referee.

Ghana U20 Management Committee Chairman George Afriyie expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Ghana team.

"Its good for team building and help the technical team to identify team weakness and fix them," he told GHANAsoccernet.com in the post match interview.

Ghana's Line-up: Michael Sai - Kofi Yeboah, Owusu Bempah, Stephen Anokye, Samuel Tetteh, Prosper Kassim, Asiedu Attobrah, Patrick Asmah, Noah Martey, Sulley Mohammed, Joseph Adjei.
