Match Report: WAFA SC 1-1 Medeama- Academy Boys fight back to go 44 matches without defeat at home
WAFA drew 1-1 with Medeama at home on the last day of Ghana Premier League.

WAFA SC ended another season unbeaten at home-for the second time-after a 1-1 draw with Medeama on Sunday.

The Academy Boys had to rally from a goal down to split points with the Tarkwa-based side in Sogakope and have now gone 44 matches without defeat.

Against the run of play, the visitors took the lead in the 11th minute when centre back Paul Aidoo converted a spot-kick.

This was after captain Gideon Waja had fouled Agyei Boateng inside the box when he attempted to clear out a corner kick.

As usual, the home side kept their play-and-move approach intact and created more spaces in their opponents area.

After 25 minutes, Prince Jude Apem blasted home beautifully from inside the box after a cut back pass from the left.

In the second half, chances were created but missed as Medeama defended gallantly.
