2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Week 12 Match Preview - Dreams FC vs. Aduana Stars

Published on: 28 February 2020

After three straight league games without a win, Dreams FC have the opportunity to turn things around on Saturday when they tackle Aduana Stars.

Not the best of forms for the Believers in recent times as they have managed only one win in the last six premiership fixtures.

Dreams FC have tasted back-to-back defeats at the Dawu park, they hope to beat the Fire Boys to get back to winning ways this Saturday.

A 2-1 victory over second-tier Phar Rangers in the FA Cup saw the Still Believe side recover from their last league loss.

Maxwell Arthur and Patrick Arthur are expected back in the team for Saturday's game whereas Abdul Jalilu looks doubtful after picking a knock in the last league outing.

Currently lying 10th on the standings with 14 points means that Dreams will drop further if they fail to record a win on the weekend.

Aduana Stars were eliminated in the FA Cup last weekend as they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to regional rivals Bechem United.

This disappointment came after their 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko SC last time out in the premiership.

The Fire Boys have conceded a combine eight goals in the last two away matches in the league which make their visit to Dawu this weekend look gloomy.

After clinching a win in the first away game of the season, Aduana Stars have only picked one point from the four fixtures on the road.

Paa Kwesi Fabin took over as the new head coach of the club in the week and will be taking charge of his first game against Dreams FC on Saturday.

Likes of Yahaya Mohammed, Elvis Opoku, Isaac Kwain, Caleb Amankwah, Samuel Bioh, Farouk Adams and Joseph Addo will be back in the starting lineup for Saturday's game.

They sat out in their FA Cup loss last weekend.
