Basement boys Inter Allies have gone seven matches without a win and will further nail their coffin if they fail to get the points against WAFA on Saturday, 20 February 2021.

Before last week, 2-2 draw at Liberty Professionals, Allies had lost six straight matches and slipped into the danger zone.

But Allies have had some brilliant players in Nafiu Sulemana, Kingsley Braye and Hashmin Musah  and so when the going gets tough, these troops should come to their rescue.

Head coach Dani Mujkanovic remains confident his side will come good and get themselves out of the drop.

''While I have been saying this all the time, I feel that the ground bases and the team is okay and we are strong defensively but we have been missing some players up in front,'' Mujkanovic said in a post-match interview at Liberty Professionals.

''We are playing with a lot of young players on our offensive position and that takes time but I feel that I have been improved at taking small steps for each game and from next week we can bring also some new players in that can improve us.

''I'm still confident I know it’s a tough situation we are in but it’s not impossible and we just have to continue working hard and hopefully going to turn it around.''

WAFA are also in a bit of trouble after going three matches without a win including two defeats on the road (Dreams FC and Aduana Stars).

The Academy Boys look like a weakened side with midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena injured and Eric Asamany also out for a longer period.

The departures of Daniel Agbloe and Daniel Owusu have robbed them off some firepower upfront.

Experimenting Marvin Owusu as a false No.9 is yet to pay dividends.
