At the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Thursday, Dreams FC will lock horns with AshantiGold SC in a penultimate fixture of the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

Dreams had their 8-match undefeated streak ended last weekend as they succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea.

They hope to make amends as quickly as they can by recording a win over AshantiGold on Thursday afternoon.

The "Believers" have been formidable at home since the arrival of Serbian trainer Vladislav Viric at the helm of affairs.

Dreams have won all of the last four home matches scoring 13 goals and conceding just three in the process.

Their last defeat in Dawu is dated on back 20 December 2020 against Asante Kotoko SC.

Viric won't be having duo Philemon Baffour and Percious Boah who are currently in Mauritania with Ghana U20 team.

AshantiGold will be journeying to Dawu with some confidence after ending their six games winless run in the premiership last Friday against Aduana Stars.

The Miners recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over Aduana at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi to get back yo winning ways.

The Gold and Black outfit moved three places up on the league table from 10th place to 7th position following the vital victory.

AshantiGold have managed just one win at away in the premiership this season after 7 matches drawing three and losing three in this regard.

Assistant coaches Isaac Kofi Sarfo and Thomas Duah will continue to guide the team on Thursday as head coach Milovan Cirkovic has left the club.
