Liberty made it three wins on the bounce on Saturday when they defeated Berekum Chelsea by a lone goal.
Talisman Abraham Wayo struck the first goal for the Dansoman-based outfit in the 6th minute.
Berekum Chelsea put up a stern fight in the second half but couldn’t break the steady defense of the hosts.
Liberty continue from where they left off by bombarding Chelsea with lots of possession but little to show for in the final third.
The moment of glory arrived in the 79th minute when Amadu Awudu eluded his marker to poke home the hosts second of the afternoon.
It was a deserving victory for Liberty Professionals as the battle to escape the drop continues.
The win takes them to 14th place with 24 points, two points above the relegation zone.
