Ghana Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu is expecting his Black Stars B team to show their true character during the CHAN competition.

‘‘Everybody plays to win and we will not go into a game and say that we are going to try and see that we will lose. We are going to try and get a win but whatever happens, we leave the rest till Saturday. We will go and do our very best for Ghana as we have been doing’’.

When queried of the physical condition of the players available for selection, the gaffer elucidated on the situation at hand in camp saying not all will make the trip to Ouagadougou.

‘‘We had two or three players who were suppose to make the trip but due to minor injuries we’re going away and we have to make sure that everybody we’re sending there is fully fit and can fight till the end of the game and that’s why we intentionally dropped those who are not hundred percent fit and send those who can defend the flag of Ghana.

The injured players at the moment will be left out of the squad for the game in Burkina Faso. The once making the trip are all fit the very ones who are not too fit will be left behind and will join us immediately we return from Burkina’’.

The team is expected to leave the shore of Ghana today in their quest to qualify and represent the country in Kenya.
