Medeama goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe is relishing the prospect of winning the MTN FA Cup and represent the club in Africa for the second time.

The Mauve and Yellows will battle league champions Asante Kotoko for the second time in two years in the final at the Essipong stadium on August 30.

Medeama posted a narrow 1-0 win over the Porcupine Warriors two years ago to clinch the title for the first time.

And goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe is relishing a repeat of the feat chalked in 2013.

We have won this trophy once and we know what it brought to us so we will not wait for anybody to come and motivate us,” he told the media on Tuesday

“We know when we win this trophy we will go to Africa and it will project our image as players. So are ready to match Kotoko boot for boot.”

The winner of the tie will represent Ghana at next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
